Deflection: Typical French door installations only hold the active door at one point: the deadbolt. This assembly allows for door panel deflection, air and water infiltration.
Endura’s Multi-Point Astragal combines multi-point locking and enhanced sealing power with our Ultimate Astragal.

The Multi-Point Astragal features patented lock pawls activated by the deadbolt to engage keepers in the active door, providing three locking points. No deflection.

CERTIFIED TESTING Performance of the Ultimate Multi-Point Astragal has been validated by certified testing through an independent, accredited laboratory. The following test protocols were utilized to verify performance: Air penetration resistance per ASTM E 283; Water penetration resistance performance per ASTM E 547; and Structural performance per ASTM E 330.
The built-in Flip Lever activates Flush Bolts and the Floating Boot at the same time. Engaging the deadbolt activates both lock pawls into keepers.Two steps. Endless sealing power.

1. Activate Flip Lever, Engage Floating Boot Operating Flip Lever engages both Flush Bolts and patented Floating Boot. Patented spring-loaded Floating Boot finds the lowest point on the cap, independently from the bolts, and maintains a perfect seal at all times.

2. Engage Deadbolt, Activate Multi-Point Lock Engaging the deadbolt compresses the lock actuator to activate the patented locking system. Upper and lower multi-point lock pawls are captured by keepers in the active door panel.
